About
ERRA are a progressive metalcore band out of Birmingham, Alabama, and over seven studio albums they've built a reputation for layered, technical heaviness cut through with melodic clarity. Guitarists Jesse Cash and Clint Tustin are a big part of the sound, weaving intricate riffs with the kind of clean tonal work that separates them from straightforward metalcore acts. Their 2021 self titled album was a landmark release, and they followed it with Cure in 2024 before dropping Silence Outlives the Earth in March 2026, keeping the momentum firmly going. The band has cycled through some lineup changes over the years, but the core creative identity has stayed consistent. They hit No. 1 on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart multiple times, toured alongside heavyweights like August Burns Red, TesseracT and Bad Omens, and even found time to cover Queens of the Stone Age and Muse. Vocalist J.T. Cavey has been the voice fronting the band since 2016, and the chemistry between his delivery and the dense instrumental backdrop is a big reason ERRA keeps drawing in new listeners.
