About
Exit Eden built their reputation on something genuinely fun: taking massive pop hits and giving them a full symphonic metal makeover. Their 2017 debut, Rhapsodies in Black, packed covers of Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Depeche Mode and Bonnie Tyler into one record, landed at No. 15 in the German album charts, and racked up hundreds of thousands of YouTube views within days of the first clips going up. The group was put together by four vocalists from across the metal world, Amanda Somerville, Marina La Torraca, Clémentine Delauney and Anna Brunner, each already active in bands like Epica, Battle Beast and Visions of Atlantis. After Somerville stepped away in 2023 to focus on her family, the remaining three members kept things moving. They released the single Run! featuring Marco Hietala and then dropped Femmes Fatales in early 2024, their second album and first to feature entirely original material. It marked a real turning point, proving the project has legs well beyond the cover concept that launched it.
