Fcukers came together in New York City in 2022 when Jackson Walker Lewis, fresh off leaving indie band Spud Cannon, started messing around with house music and pulled in Shanny Wise, who had fronted The Shacks. Both were done with indie and ready to go somewhere noisier and more electronic. The result is an electro house project with serious pedigree behind it, signed to Ninja Tune's Technicolour Records. Their debut EP Baggy$$ landed in 2024 and showed exactly what they're about. The single 'Homie Don't Shake' samples Beck's 'Devils Haircut' and landed on Pitchfork's listening recommendations, while they also found time to remix a track with James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem. In 2025 they opened for Tame Impala on his Deadbeat Tour, and their debut album Ö followed in March 2026 through Ninja Tune.
