Confidence Man are the kind of act that started as a joke and ended up headlining Glastonbury. The Brisbane quartet built their name on sugar rush electropop, with front pair Janet Planet and Sugar Bones doing the vocals and dancing while two masked figures handle the keyboards and drums behind them. Their 2018 debut, Confident Music for Confident People, put them on the map, and by 2022 Tilt was cracking the Australian top ten, with a remix EP pulling in collaborators like Tame Impala and Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs. Since moving to London, the sound has pushed deeper into club territory, soaking up 90s British rave culture along the way. Their third album, 3AM (La La La), landed in 2024, announced with a video of Planet and Bones singing naked from a helicopter over the London skyline. A DJ mix for the legendary Fabric club followed, and in 2025 they dropped a collaboration with JADE, keeping the momentum firmly rolling.
