Firewind are a power metal and heavy metal band from Thessaloniki, Greece, built around the guitar work of Gus G., who has also played with Ozzy Osbourne. Over roughly two decades the band has put out ten albums and racked up a string of recognisable tracks including "Falling to Pieces", "World on Fire", "Breaking the Silence" and "Rising Fire". Their sound sits at the crossroads of melodic, energetic power metal and modern heavy metal, with a rhythmic hard rock backbone running through all of it. Expect aggressive, heavy riffs alongside shred heavy guitar solos delivered with full intensity.
