Greta Van Fleet hit the ground running when their debut single "Highway Tune" sat at number one on the Billboard Mainstream Rock and Active Rock charts for four straight weeks in 2017. The Michigan four piece, built around the Kiszka brothers and drummer Danny Wagner, draw heavily on blues rock and classic hard rock, and the comparison to Led Zeppelin follows them everywhere, partly thanks to vocalist Josh Kiszka's raw, sky scraping delivery. Their EP From the Fires landed them a Grammy for Best Rock Album, and their debut full length Anthem of the Peaceful Army debuted at number one on the Billboard Rock Albums chart. They have kept the momentum going across multiple records. The Battle at Garden's Gate arrived in 2021, followed by Starcatcher in 2023. Along the way they have covered everyone from Sam Cooke to Adele, and Elton John liked them enough to jump onstage with them and offer fashion advice afterward. Few rock acts of the past decade have arrived with quite this much chart firepower straight out of the gate.
