About
Formed in Warsaw in 1990, Hate have spent over three decades carving out a reputation as one of Poland's most relentless blackened death metal acts. Guitarist and vocalist Adam "ATF Sinner" Buszko has been the constant driving force, steering the band through thirteen studio albums and countless lineup shifts. Their sound is built on full speed blast beats and grimy, uncompromising heaviness, but as Revolver Magazine noted of 2013's Solarflesh, they bring just enough experimentation to keep things interesting, whether that's keyboard flourishes or an unexpected Spanish style guitar intro. The band's catalog reflects real resilience. Their 2015 album Crusade: Zero was dedicated to bassist Slawek "Mortifier" Arkhangelsky, who passed away suddenly on tour in 2013. Since signing with Metal Blade Records, Hate have kept up a steady output, releasing Auric Gates of Veles in 2019 and Rugia in 2021. Their most recent album, Bellum Regiis, arrived in May 2025.
