About
John Splithoff built his reputation on a knack for blending classic soul warmth with sleek electronic pop, and it paid off when his 2016 single "Sing To You" climbed to No. 8 on the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart and racked up tens of millions of streams, becoming one of Spotify's most viral tracks that year. The Chicago raised, Los Angeles based singer, songwriter, and producer followed that breakthrough by signing to East West Records, releasing the EP Make It Happen in 2018, and then stepping back from the major label world to reclaim his own voice on his independent label Pleasant Lane Music. His debut full length All In arrived in 2021, a record he described as half outwardly confessional love songs and half self analytical inner turmoil, written largely in isolation before the pandemic hit. He has also kept busy as a collaborator and touring sideman alongside artists like Ben Folds, George Benson, Quinn XCII, and Teddy Swims. His second album Far From Here came out in March 2025.
