Ryan Raddon, the Chicago born DJ and producer who records as Kaskade, built his name through a string of Billboard Hot Dance chart toppers that made him one of electronic and house music's most recognizable figures. His early work on Om Records, including the debut full length It's You, It's Me, established a deep house sensibility he kept refining across albums like Strobelite Seduction and Fire & Ice. Two collaborations with Deadmau5, 'Move for Me' and 'I Remember', became crossover moments, with 'I Remember' cracking the UK Singles Chart top 15. The album Atmosphere earned him two Grammy nominations in December 2013, for Best Dance Recording and Best Dance/Electronica Album. Kaskade headlined Coachella in 2015 alongside Drake and drew the two largest crowds the festival had ever seen to that point. Forbes ranked him the eighth highest paid DJ in the world in 2014, at $17 million. He later teamed up with Deadmau5 again under the project name Kx5, their fourth collaboration, releasing the self titled Kx5 album in 2023. In February 2024 he became the first DJ to perform throughout an entire Super Bowl, stepping in after Tiësto had to withdraw due to a family emergency.
