The Los Angeles League of Musicians — known as LA LOM — is an instrumental trio built around guitarist Zac Sokolow, bassist Jake Faulkner, and percussionist Nicholas Baker. The three started playing together at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, where they explored a blend of cumbia and Peruvian chicha that became the core of their sound. That genre-mixing approach has since defined what the band does.
