About
Mark Ambor, the stage name of Mark Gregory Damboragian, has built a reputation for warm, upbeat pop songwriting that connects on a gut level. His breakout moment came with the 2024 single "Belong Together", which hit number one on the Dutch Top 40 and landed at 87 on the Billboard Hot 100, racking up over seven million US streams. That kind of cross Atlantic traction is no accident: his earlier single "Good to Be" also found a devoted audience in the Netherlands. The string of singles leading up to his debut studio album Rockwood, released in August 2024, showed a consistent knack for melodic pop with an acoustic sensibility. Tracks like "Curls in the Wind", "I Hope It All Works Out" and "Belong Together" map out an artist who keeps his songwriting grounded and emotionally direct. Rockwood is where all those threads come together for the first time on a full album.
