Nia Archives, born Dehaney Nia Lishahn Hunt, has carved out her own lane by dragging jungle out of the archives and into the present. The Bradford born, London based producer, DJ and singer is widely seen as a driving force behind the post 2020 drum and bass revival, blending the raw energy of 90s jungle with contemporary R&B textures in a way that feels both deeply rooted and completely fresh. Her self released EPs, Headz Gone West and Forbidden Feelingz, built serious momentum before Sunrise Bang Ur Head Against the Wall topped the UK Dance Albums Chart in 2023. She then went one further with her debut album Silence Is Loud, released through Island in 2024, which cracked the top 20 of the UK Albums Chart. Early track Sober Feels, put out on her own label Hijinxx, has racked up over seven million streams and was really where the whole thing took off.
