Jungle star Nia Archives will headline the official Amex Afters afterparty for All Points East on 29 August at Club Colour Factory in Hackney Wick.

This year, London's All Points East festival is getting an official afterparty with an impressive name at the top of the bill. Mercury Prize nominated jungle artist Nia Archives will headline the Amex Afters on Saturday 29 August, a one off event at Colour Factory nightclub in Hackney Wick. The party kicks off at 11pm, right after Tyler, The Creator's headline set that same evening in Victoria Park. The show is organised in partnership with American Express.
Alongside Nia Archives, Cheetah, Riria, Sexy Lady Massive and Zillion are also on the Colour Factory lineup. It's an intimate show compared to the sprawling festival site down the road, and Nia Archives herself describes the evening as a deliberate choice for a different atmosphere. "It'll be a different vibe to my All Points East set the week before, and it's always great to be back after so many good memories at the festival," she said. She added that she wants to lean into late night party energy for the set, featuring music from her own UP YA ARCHIVES label, some exclusive tracks and a blend of jungle and techno.
The afterparty isn't the only time you can catch Nia Archives around All Points East. She's also performing on the festival's opening day, Friday 21 August, as support for Jorja Smith and Tems. The full All Points East programme also includes Lorde on Saturday 22 August, Outbreak Fest with Deftones on Sunday 23 August, Tyler, The Creator on both Friday 28 and Saturday 29 August, and Twenty One Pilots on Sunday 30 August. On 29 August, Dove Ellis, Syd, Jim Legxacy and Danny Brown will also appear on the festival site alongside Tyler, The Creator. Another afterparty has been announced as well: Interpol will headline a set following their support slot for Deftones on 23 August.
Tickets for the Amex Afters are available immediately for American Express cardholders who already have a festival ticket. Other All Points East attendees can purchase tickets from Thursday 13 August at 10am, with general sale starting on Friday 14 August.
Nia Archives is having quite a year. Last month she released her album Emotional Junglist, which received widespread critical acclaim. For fans of jungle, techno and the broader club and festival scene, her rising profile is a clear sign that the British jungle scene is attracting growing international attention, with Nia Archives standing out as one of its most prominent and forward thinking voices.
