Tyler, the Creator has spent well over a decade reshaping what rap can sound like, moving from the gleefully transgressive horrorcore of his early Odd Future days to lush, genre blending records that pull from jazz, soul, R&B and beyond. His second album Goblin put him on the map in 2011, largely through the video for "Yonkers", but the real critical turning point came with Flower Boy in 2017. Igor and Call Me If You Get Lost both hit number one on the Billboard 200 and each won Best Rap Album at the Grammys, cementing him as one of the more consistently inventive voices in hip hop. Beyond the music, Tyler runs clothing brands Golf Wang and Le Fleur, has collaborated with Lacoste, Converse and Louis Vuitton, and organises the Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival, a festival he launched in 2012. He also directs all his own videos under the pseudonym Wolf Haley. His 2024 album Chromakopia debuted at number one and posted the biggest first week sales of his career, and a follow up, Don't Tap the Glass, landed in 2025.
