About
Also known as: Noémie Maria Alexis Ghislaine Wolfs
Noémie Wolfs built her name as the voice of Belgian dream pop band Hooverphonic, stepping in at 22 after being chosen from roughly a thousand candidates to replace Geike Arnaert. She held that spot from 2010 to 2015, appearing on four records including the orchestral live album and Reflection, and picking up the Radio 2 Summerhit award for Best Singer in 2011. After parting ways with Hooverphonic she signed with Universal and launched a solo career rooted in alternative pop and synth pop. Her debut solo album Hunt You arrived in 2016, kicking off with the single Burning. She has kept a steady pace since, releasing Lonely Boy's Paradise in 2020 and Wild at Heart in 2023, showing a sound that feels both polished and personal. She is from Scherpenheuvel Zichem in Belgium.
