Ricky Koole wears a lot of hats, and she wears them all well. The Dutch singer, songwriter and actress from Delft has built a career that moves freely between music, film and theatre, with more than forty film credits to her name alongside a solid catalogue of albums. Her records include Wind Om Het Huis, No Use Crying, To The Heartland and Ricky Koole with Ocobar, each one a reminder that she approaches songwriting with the same seriousness she brings to acting. On stage she has created music theatre shows both solo and in collaboration with her partner Leo Blokhuis, covering everything from the New Orleans project to the long running Harmonium and Buitenstaanders productions. Her film work earned her multiple Gouden Kalf nominations, including recognition for her role in Sonny Boy.
