About
Utrecht indie pop band RONDÉ has been quietly building one of the more consistent track records in Dutch pop since winning the 3FM Serious Talent Award back in 2015. The five piece, fronted by vocalist Rikki Borgelt alongside guitarist Armel Paap, bassist Cas Oomen, drummer Sharon Zarr and keyboardist Teun Dillisse, has racked up a string of 3FM Megahits and Radio 538 awards across three albums. Their sound travels comfortably across Dutch radio, with singles like "Calling", "Get To You" and "Hard to Say Goodbye" each making real dents in the charts. Their third album Ten, released in late 2024 to mark the band's tenth year together, debuted at number 5 on the Dutch Albums Chart and sent five singles into the top ten of the Dutch Top 40 back to back. They celebrated the release with their biggest show yet at AFAS Live in Amsterdam, a venue that says plenty about how far they have come since those early Popronde dates.
