Sara Correia won the prestigious Grande Noite do Fado talent competition at just thirteen years old, which set the tone for a career that has grown into one of the most significant in contemporary fado. After that early breakthrough, she sharpened her craft performing alongside fado figures such as Celeste Rodrigues and Jorge Fernando. Three albums followed: Sara Correia (2018), Do Coração (2020) and Liberdade (2024), and her work earned her a Latin Grammy nomination along the way. What makes Correia stand out is the ease with which she moves between precise vocal control and raw emotional delivery, a balance that feels completely natural rather than studied. That reputation has extended beyond the stage: since 2023 she has been a coach on The Voice Portugal.
