About
Shanti Celeste moves between house, techno, electro, and ambient with a fluidity that feels genuinely her own. Born in Chile and eventually settling in Bristol before shifting to Berlin and then London, she built her reputation through residencies at nights like Super Ultra Mega and Housework, and by co running the Bristol label BRSTL before launching her own imprint, Peach Discs, in 2017. Her debut release Need Your Lovin' (Baby) came out in 2013, and her full length Tangerine followed in 2019, the same period she landed a slot on BBC Radio 1's Essential Mix series. She also remixed Orbital's Are We Here? in 2022. Beyond DJing, she runs a monthly show on NTS Radio, promotes her own Club Celeste nights in London and Bristol, and is a trained illustrator, which gives her creative output a visual coherence that sets her apart.
