About
SONS are an Antwerp based rock band that throws garage rock, punk, post punk and indie rock together with stoner and noise rock edges. Heavy guitars, tight hooks and a live show that stays permanently on edge are their calling card. They broke through via Studio Brussels's De Nieuwe Lichting competition, which set things moving fast. Two albums followed, 'Family Dinner' in 2019 and 'Sweet Boy' in 2022, and the band earned festival slots at Pinkpop, Pukkelpop and Rock Werchter alongside support runs for Wolfmother and Jack White. Their album 'Hallo', produced by David McCracken who has worked with dEUS, Depeche Mode and Beyoncé, keeps that raw edge intact while adding more groove and layering to the sound.
