About
SPYAIR took their name from the word "spyware" and built one of the most recognizable sounds in Japanese rock, blending alternative rock with pop and electronic elements in a way that drew comparisons to Korn and Linkin Park. The Nagoya four piece broke through with Sony Music and quickly became go to contributors for anime soundtracks, providing opening and ending themes for Gin Tama, Haikyū!!, Bleach, and Mobile Suit Gundam AGE among others. Their single "0 Game" even landed as the official Japan soundtrack for The Amazing Spider Man. Their third album Million got a European release through JPU Records, showing the band's reach well beyond Japan. After longtime vocalist Ike stepped away in 2022 due to illness, the band brought in Yosuke as his replacement in 2023 and kept moving forward. Most recently, SPYAIR contributed the theme song "Orange" to the Haikyū!! theatrical film "The Dumpster Battle" in 2024.
