After a decade of bringing The Beatles' studio years to life on stage, The Analogues wrapped up their run at the end of 2024. The Dutch group became known for their meticulous recreation of Beatles recordings, focusing on the studio period and performing it all without costumes but with a deep commitment to authentic sound. Their farewell show featured an opening act called The Young Analogues, four young musicians who tackled the early Beatles repertoire so convincingly that audiences wondered whether they were watching the next generation of the band. That impression turned out to be prescient: under the guidance of The Analogues, The Young Analogues have taken on a programme called Best of The Beatles 62 to 65, using the red compilation double album as their blueprint and following the same no gimmicks approach that defined their mentors.
