About
The Grogans write sun bleached surf rock that sounds like it was beamed in from the 1960s, and they've built a loyal following in Australia doing it. The Melbourne trio of Quin Grunden, Angus Vasic and Jordan Lewis started out with a run of self released EPs, and "Lemon to My Lime" became their first track to get airplay on Triple J. Their debut album, Just What You Want, was written and recorded in a single week in Torquay. Over time the sound has stretched into blues rock and psychedelic pop, with Rolling Stone hearing shades of the Beatles and the Kinks. They nodded to the latter with a Like a Version cover of "You Really Got Me", and "Money Will Chase You" has since gone Gold. Find Me A Cloud earned a Triple J feature album spot and a nomination for Unearthed Artist of the Year at the J Awards. Their latest album is Stagger, from 2025.
