Formed in Álftanes, Iceland, The Vintage Caravan channel the spirit of classic hard rock and heavy psych with a raw, riff driven energy that draws from Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, and Cream. The trio's sound sits somewhere between vintage proto metal and swirling psychedelic rock, a combination that earned them a deal with Nuclear Blast after their second album Voyage caught serious attention. That album's music video for Expand Your Mind racked up 400,000 YouTube views, making it the band's most watched track online. By their third record Arrival in 2015, the band had settled into a new lineup and the momentum kept building. Gateways followed in 2018, then Monuments in 2021 under Napalm Records, which earned four out of five stars from Loudersound. Their sixth studio album Portals landed in 2025. Good friends with Blues Pills, fellow heavy rock travellers on Nuclear Blast, The Vintage Caravan have carved out a genuine niche for fans who want their rock loud, heavy, and with a proper vintage soul.
