About
Tigercub are a three piece rock band from Brighton whose sound refuses to sit still. Their 2021 album As Blue as Indigo tackled heavy personal terrain, including anxiety, depression, toxic masculinity, and the loss of close friends, and it rewarded them with a number one spot on the Independent Album Breakers chart and a UK Rock and Metal chart top five. Their 2023 follow up, The Perfume of Decay, came out on Stone Gossard's Loosegroove Records, which is quite the co sign. The band is made up of Jamie Stephen Hall on vocals and lead guitar, Jimi Wheelwright on bass, and James Allix on drums. Early press pegged them as one of Brighton's most promising acts, and they've backed that up with years of relentless touring alongside Royal Blood and Blood Red Shoes. Their fourth album, Nets to Catch the Wind, arrived in 2026, with recent videos for tracks like Silver Smile and A Black Moon showing the band very much in motion.
