Also known as: Tina Dickow Danielsen, Tina Dico
Running her own record label and releasing music on her own terms, Tina Dico has built a serious following in Denmark and earned plenty of attention across Europe. Born in Aarhus, she performs under both her real name Tina Dickow and the shortened Tina Dico, and her 2005 album In The Red hit number one on the Danish charts. Her pop and indie pop sound sits in a singer songwriter tradition, and she has contributed vocals to some unexpected places, including Zero7's When It Falls, a Clash of the Titans soundtrack track she also co wrote, and a cover of Working Class Hero for an Amnesty International campaign. She voiced Queen Iduna in the Danish version of Frozen II, singing the Danish adaptations of All Is Found and Show Yourself. In 2014 she released a fan curated EP of Danish language covers called En Håndfuld Danske, with fans voting on which songs made the cut.
