About
Also known as: Daniel Lena
Unknown T got his break with a track he put out with no label behind it. "Homerton B" climbed to number 48 on the UK Singles Chart in 2018, landed on best of the year lists at The Guardian, Mixmag and Complex, and in March 2019 became the first UK drill track certified Silver by the BPI. Island Records came calling, and he played Wireless festival the following year. Follow ups like "Throwback", "Meat" and "Leave Dat Trap" with AJ Tracey piled up millions of views. His first mixtape, Rise Above Hate, arrived in July 2020 and peaked at 14 on the UK Albums Chart. A year later came Adolescence, with guests including Digga D, M1llionz, Potter Payper and Nafe Smallz. Fun stat: he shares the record for most top 75 hits in the UK without ever having a top 40 hit, a title he holds jointly with Loski.
