About
Up The Irons is a tribute act from Tilburg in the Netherlands dedicated to Iron Maiden, and they have been at it since 1999. Over more than two decades on the road they have played major festivals including Graspop and Spa Tribute Fest, and toured stages across Europe from Germany and England to France and Italy. That kind of reach puts them firmly among the most serious outfits on the tribute circuit. Their attention to detail has earned them recognition from within the Iron Maiden camp itself: Steve Harris has personally complimented the band on their work, which is about as high a seal of approval as a Maiden tribute can get. Their live sets draw on the full Iron Maiden catalogue, and they have performed the complete album Somewhere in Time as a dedicated show.
