About Marie-Elisabeth Hecker
When Marie Elisabeth Hecker won the Grand Prix de la Ville de Paris at the Concours de violoncelle Rostropovitch in 2005, she was one of the youngest competitors ever to take the top prize at what is considered the most prestigious cello competition in the world, held every four years in Paris.
