Few bands from Knoxville have hit as hard as 10 Years. Formed in 1999, the group built their reputation on a blend of alternative metal and post grunge that found its sharpest early form on their 2005 major label debut, The Autumn Effect. The single "Wasteland" spent over a year on the rock charts, eventually hitting No. 1 at active rock radio and then climbing to the top of the Billboard Alternative Songs chart in early 2006. The album and the single have both since gone Gold. Over the years they have toured alongside Korn, Disturbed, Deftones, Breaking Benjamin and Mudvayne, and have put out ten studio albums in total, most recently Deconstructed in 2022. The lineup has shifted plenty over the decades, with guitarists Brian Vodinh and Matt Wantland the only founding members still in the fold. In 2024 they released an EP called Inner Darkness and collaborated with Conquer Divide on the track "The Optimist".
