Alessi Rose has a knack for turning her own anxieties into earworms. The London based singer songwriter from Derbyshire writes confessional alt pop that critics have likened to Olivia Rodrigo and Gracie Abrams, though her voice also draws comparisons to Kate Bush. Both her debut EP Rumination as Ritual and its follow up For Your Validation were written about living with OCD, with the latter exploring the very specific need to be told you are normal. Tracks like "Imsochillandcool" and "Pretty World" show a real gift for wrapping raw feelings in sharp, melodic pop, and "Pretty World" in particular landed with enough impact to earn a Ticketmaster Breakthrough 2025 nod. Her rise has been fast. After supporting Noah Kahan in Belfast and opening for Tate McRae across 20 dates on the Miss Possessive Tour, she then joined Dua Lipa for the full European leg of the Radical Optimism Tour. Her third EP Voyeur, released in July 2025 via Capitol Records and Polydor Records, pushed further into alt rock territory with tracks like "That Could Be Me", and a deluxe edition followed in November. By the end of 2025 she was on Vevo's DSCVR Artists to Watch list for 2026 and performing at Capital FM's Jingle Bell Ball.
