Grafton Street's most recognisable busker, Allie Sherlock built a fanbase of over six million YouTube subscribers largely by performing covers in the open air in Dublin. A video of her singing Ed Sheeran's "Supermarket Flowers" went viral back in 2017, and things moved fast from there: TV appearances on Ellen and RTÉ, a five year deal with Patriot Records (the label run by OneRepublic's Ryan Tedder), and a support slot for OneRepublic across European venues including the London Palladium. She is not just a covers artist, though. Her debut album Allie dropped on her 18th birthday in April 2023, and she has been steadily releasing originals ever since, including "How Love Works", co written with Ella Henderson and Ollie Green, and a run of singles through 2025. She also writes more personal material, including "The Night Before", a song about her mother's death. Lately she has been active on YouTube, uploading new content and duetting with other performers.
