Birdtalker's breakthrough came from a single track: "Heavy," the centerpiece of their 2016 debut EP Just This, has racked up over 90 million streams on Spotify and essentially put this Nashville indie folk and Americana group on the map overnight. The band was founded by husband and wife Zack and Dani Green, whose vocal interplay gives Birdtalker a warm, grounded sound that sits somewhere between folk intimacy and full band energy. Since that early surge, they've kept a steady pace, building a catalog that now spans three full length albums. Their 2018 debut LP One solidified their reputation, and they followed it with a self titled record in 2021 and All Means, No End in 2024. Along the way they've shared stages with Mat Kearney, Amos Lee, and Drew Holcomb and The Neighbors, holding their own as headliners too. They're a band that clearly has no interest in standing still.
