Chris Kläfford

About

Chris Kläfford spent a decade playing small bars before winning the thirteenth season of Swedish Idol in 2017, and the momentum from that win was real: three top five singles on national radio, over 35 million streams, platinum sales, and a 50 show tour across Sweden the following summer. He's the only Idol winner to hold both the number one and number seven most streamed singles at the same time. In 2019 he joined Swedish rock legends Gyllene Tider on their farewell tour, which is quite the stamp of approval. That same year he took his voice to America's Got Talent, where his audition performance of John Lennon's Imagine, the same song he sang in the Idol finale, became one of his most watched videos online. He made it to the semifinals before being eliminated.
