Emma Harner calls her music "math folk", guitar patterns and melodies that drift between folk, indie, and something harder to pin down. The singer songwriter and guitarist from Nebraska, now based in Boston, built an early following online before her debut EP caught wider attention. Her voice has a searching, penetrating quality that draws in listeners who recognise the unspoken textures of young adult life.
