Foy Vance is an Irish singer songwriter whose soulful, warm songwriting has earned him a devoted following well beyond his Northern Irish roots. His 2013 album Joy of Nothing, which features vocal turns from Bonnie Raitt and Ed Sheeran, won the inaugural Northern Ireland Music Prize and drew genuine critical praise for its open, uplifting quality. He has been on Ed Sheeran's Gingerbread Man label since 2015, and the two have a long history together, from touring as support act to duetting on stage at Madison Square Garden. His third album The Wild Swan, produced by Jacquire King and released in 2016, saw him supporting Elton John on European dates and Josh Groban across North America. That same year he co wrote 'Pushin' Time' with Miranda Lambert and Natalie Hemby for Lambert's album The Weight of These Wings, showing a knack for landing songs in the right hands. His track 'Be the Song' has turned up on shows like House, Arrow, and Constantine, while 'Homebird' and 'Gabriel and the Vagabond' found a big audience through Grey's Anatomy.
