About
Roo Panes builds his sound around a 12 string acoustic guitar, introspective lyrics, and a backdrop of string players, landing somewhere in the space between classical and indie folk. The English singer songwriter first broke through to a wider audience in 2012 when he joined actress Gabriella Wilde as a campaign star for Burberry, which also led to recordings for Burberry Acoustic. His debut LP Little Giant arrived in 2014, followed by Paperweights in 2016 and Quiet Man in 2018. He kept busy through the years with a steady stream of singles, and his most recent studio album dropped in March 2023. His song Know Me Well even made it onto the BBC comedy Cuckoo, playing over the end credits of the Series 2 Christmas special.
