About
Named after Italian horror director Lucio Fulci, this death metal band from Caserta, Italy has been grinding out old school carnage since 2013. Their sound has been described as gurgling with samples, synths and subterranean gangsta flow, drawing heavy comparisons to Cannibal Corpse and Mortician, with horror film themes baked into everything they do. Their 2019 album Tropical Sun was the turning point that put them on the international map, and they followed it up with Exhumed Information in 2021, touring Europe and the United States and recording a live session at the legendary Morrisound Recording studio in Tampa. With two guitarists joining the fold in 2023, Fulci signed to American extreme metal label 20 Buck Spin and released their fourth album Duck Face Killings in 2024. The lineup now features founding members Clemente Diglio on bass, Domenico Diego on guitars and synths, and vocalist Fiore Stravino, rounded out by drummer Edoardo Nicoloso and guitarist Ando Ferraiuolo.
