About
Jayler's name came from a happy accident: Tyler Arrowsmith's dad scrawled a shorthand version of James and Tyler's names on an open mic board, and it stuck. The Staffordshire rooted four piece, rounded out by bassist Ricky Hodgkiss and drummer Ed Evans, plays a raw blend of classic rock, blues rock and hard rock that draws regular comparisons to Led Zeppelin, with the band also citing Black Sabbath, AC/DC, Van Halen, Free and The Who as touchstones. Their debut album Voices Unheard, released through Silver Lining Music in May 2026, hit number three on the UK Rock & Metal Albums Chart and picked up strong reviews for its unpolished, energetic feel. Things got genuinely wild when a social media clip racked up 123 million views in Brazil, landing them slots at Monsters of Rock Brazil and a support run with Lynyrd Skynyrd. Singles like Riverboat Queen, Down Below and Hate to See It End show a band with plenty of ground to cover.
