Judith Hill spent years as one of the most in demand backing vocalists in the business, lending her voice to recording sessions for Michael Jackson, Prince, Rod Stewart, Robbie Williams, Incubus, and plenty of others before the world really took notice. That moment came at Jackson's 2009 memorial service, when she stepped up to lead "Heal the World" and moved a global audience. Her story was later woven into the Grammy winning documentary 20 Feet from Stardom, which spotlighted the unsung heroes behind pop's biggest names. When she finally stepped into the spotlight on her own terms, she brought serious firepower. Her debut album Back in Time was recorded at Paisley Park with Prince as co producer, and her 2021 follow up Baby, I'm Hollywood! drew praise from SPIN. She has since released Letters from a Black Widow, with the single "Runaway Train" leading the way. Her voice moves across R&B, funk, gospel and jazz with an ease that has kept her in demand for film scores, tribute albums, and guest spots for artists like Eric Clapton and Gerard Way.
