About
Kingfishr are an Irish folk trio from Limerick who went from college band to chart toppers in a few short years. Their song "Killeagh" hit number one on the Irish Singles Chart in May 2025, and their debut album Halcyon landed at the top of the Irish Albums Chart shortly after. With Eddie Keogh on lead vocals, guitar and harmonica, Eoghan McGrath on banjo and guitar, and Eoin Fitzgibbon rounding things out on guitar, they bring a warm, layered sound to their indie folk style. They released their debut EP Shadow in early 2024, followed by a live album from Dublin, and have kept momentum going with tracks like "Diamonds and Roses" and acoustic and live versions of "Killeagh" showing up in 2025.
