Majid Jordan (CA)

About

Toronto duo Majid Jordan, vocalist Majid Al Maskati and producer Jordan Ullman, landed their first big moment co producing Drake's "Hold On, We're Going Home" in 2013, a track that cracked the top five on both the Canadian Hot 100 and the Billboard Hot 100. Signed to Drake's OVO Sound label, they built their sound around smooth, atmospheric R&B, releasing their self titled debut album in 2016 with Drake featured single "My Love" at its centre. Over the years they have pulled in collaborators like PARTYNEXTDOOR, Dvsn, and Khalid, and popped up on records from Zhu and DJ Snake. Their third album Wildest Dreams arrived in 2021, timed deliberately to the duo's tenth anniversary and Al Maskati's birthday. They followed that up with Good People in 2023, staying true to their hazy, melodic take on contemporary R&B.
