Natasha Bedingfield burst onto the scene in 2004 with her debut album Unwritten, a sharp set of uptempo pop songs shot through with R&B influences. It debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart, went multi platinum in the UK, and sold over 2.3 million copies worldwide. The single "These Words" gave her a UK number one, while "Unwritten" became the second most played song on US radio in 2006 and earned her a Grammy nomination for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance. Her second album N.B. arrived in 2007 and delivered two UK top ten singles, "I Wanna Have Your Babies" and "Soulmate". For the North American market, a heavily reworked version was released as Pocketful of Sunshine, which pushed "Pocketful of Sunshine" to number five on the US Billboard Hot 100 and became her biggest American hit. A third album, Strip Me, followed in 2010. Across her career she has shifted over 20 million records worldwide, and VH1 placed her at number 66 on their list of 100 Greatest Women in Music.
