Nate Sib scored his first real break when his single "Why can't you see" landed on the soundtrack for EA's NHL 24 in 2023, produced by his collaborator 2hollis. That connection paid off in a big way: he went on to open both legs of 2hollis' North American tour in 2024, and the two teamed up again on "Afraid" in January 2025, a track that racked up millions of streams. NME noticed, naming him an essential emerging artist for 2025. Signed to Republic Records since late 2024, Nate released his second EP "For Us" in May 2025 as his first project under the label. He's cited hyperpop producer SOPHIE as a heavy influence on it, which tracks with the more distorted, gritty direction he's been pushing into. His recent output, including "tonight", "back & forth" with 2hollis, and "typical", shows an artist who keeps moving rather than sitting still.
