About
Also known as: Noah Gandersen
Noah Gundersen's songs have a habit of turning up on TV. "Family" landed on Sons of Anarchy, and when the show's creator came back for an original, the result, "Day Is Gone", earned an Emmy nomination for Original Music and Lyrics. That kind of exposure helped his 2014 debut Ledges, self produced at Stone Gossard's Studio Litho in Seattle, find a wide indie folk audience, with songs about faith, death and old relationships. He has never stayed in one lane for long. Carry the Ghost (2015) took cues from Neil Young's Tonight's the Night, while White Noise (2017) swapped the acoustic hush for a much heavier, rock leaning sound. Lover followed in 2019, A Pillar of Salt in 2021 and If This Is The End in 2023. On the side, he runs a reunited high school band, Beneath Oceans, and recently posted a cover of Counting Crows' "Round Here".
