About
Pacific Avenue have been quietly building one of Australia's more compelling surf rock catalogues since forming on the New South Wales coast in 2017. The four piece, made up of Harry O'Brien, Ben Fryer, Jack Kay and Dom Littrich, captured something real on their 2019 debut EP Strawberry Skies, recorded after the band spent time living together in a beach shack in Woonona. That sense of sun soaked freedom and youthful intensity runs right through their sound. After signing with BMG in 2022, they put out their debut album Flowers in May 2023, preceded by a run of singles including "Easy Love" and "Leaving for London". They have shared stages with San Cisco, the Belligerents and British India, which tells you roughly where they sit in the Australian indie landscape. More recently they have been teasing their second album Lovesick Sentimental, with the single "Lucy" arriving in late 2024 and "Here We Go Again" following in 2025.
