About twenty years ago, Stephanie Struijk released her debut album Away From Here under the name Stevie Ann, and her subtle folk songs paired with a warm, veiled vocal tone won her an audience almost immediately. In 2016 she made the switch to singing in Dutch, and since then she has grown into a respected troubadour. Her show Altijd En Nooit circles around the passage of time, exploring what you forget, what changes in you, and what stays the same. The central questions are deceptively personal: who were you back then, who are you now, and what do those two versions of yourself still share? Struijk hails from Roggel in the Netherlands.
