Tash Sultana is a Melbourne based singer songwriter and multi instrumentalist who does everything solo, playing up to fifteen instruments including trumpet, saxophone, pan flute, piano and guitar. The whole thing clicked into gear in 2016 when a bedroom recording of "Jungle" racked up over a million views in five days and eventually hit third place in Triple J's Hottest 100. The EP Notion followed that September on Sultana's own Lonely Lands Records, peaking at number 8 on the ARIA Albums Chart and kicking off a sold out world tour. By 2017 Sultana had three tracks in Triple J's Hottest 100, made a US late night TV debut on Late Night with Seth Meyers, and picked up four ARIA nominations. The debut album Flow State arrived in August 2018 and climbed to number 2 on the ARIA Albums Chart. Since then Sultana has kept busy with collaborations alongside Matt Corby and Milky Chance, headlined massive Australian venues like Melbourne's Sidney Myer Music Bowl, and in 2026 signed a global record deal with BMG.
