About
Twilight Force lean so far into fantasy that they've built an entire fictional universe around their music called The Twilight Kingdoms, and they show up to gigs in full LARP style costumes to match. The band members even perform under fantasy alter egos, and they describe what they do as "adventure metal," drawing inspiration from Heroes of Might and Magic and Dungeons and Dragons. Based in Falun, Sweden, they've put out four studio albums since their debut Tales of Ancient Prophecies in 2014, signing to Nuclear Blast for their second record Heroes of Mighty Magic, which featured guest spots from Joakim Brodén and Fabio Lione. The band's lineup has shifted quite a bit over the years. Alessandro Conti joined on vocals ahead of 2019's Dawn of the Dragonstar and carried through to their 2023 album At the Heart of Wintervale. A wave of lineup changes in 2024 brought in three new members, and the fresh lineup made their live debut at ProgPower USA in September 2024. Around the same time, they released a track called Battle of Arcane Might, and they closed out 2024 with a festive dragon themed offering.
