About
Warhaus is the project of Belgian musician Maarten Devoldere, rooted in alternative and indie rock but never quite sitting still. The album Ha Ha Heartbeats marks a shift in direction, pushing the sound toward something darker, more hypnotic and more outspoken than earlier work. In a stripped back live setting, Devoldere brings the project down to a duo format where live electronics take a central role, blurring the line between a traditional concert and a club experience. It is a side of Warhaus that feels genuinely new, suggesting the project still has plenty of unexpected territory to explore.
